Work Stress

By Max | August 2, 2007

I have been really stressed at work this week. Thats also why I haven’t bothered to post in a while. Is it really necessary for my boss to tell me how important his deadline is everyday? I am not dumb. If I was they shouldn’t have hired me. I think I understood when the deadline was the first time he told me about it.

Today I found out that I am probably not going to be able to deliver what they wanted by Friday. Its not too bad really. They had extremely unrealistic expectations.

I have learned something about myself after this week though. (Or maybe I have always known) I really just want to party full time. Work gets in the way of so many fun things. Sure the times don’t always overlap, but the standard 9-5 can really suck the life out of you.

Poor guy, I’m sure you’ll be glad to get back to Az. and leave your boss behind. Guess he’s feeling the pressure too. Shouldn’t he be retiring soon?

I’m pretty stressed out as I write this. I’ve had a lot of people breathing down my neck and now I’ve taken the lead on two new projects this week. I’m fairly new to the type of work involved with these projects and I depend on several people are are always too busy to help.

I’m going to lose the rest of my hair :)

No need to be stressed. Who really cares when it comes down to it? Nothing is important enough to get worked up about. Everything will figure itself out sooner or later. Don’t become a company man Max.
