More Dental Adventures

On Monday, my mouth was killing me. Every couple of hours, I felt intense throbbing around my teeth and gums. Then yesterday the throbbing subsides, but there is one tooth that has become very sore. So today I went to the dentist. Unfortunately my tooth is dying and I need to have a root canal. He was going to do it today, but I need to fly to Portland tomorrow and I don’t want to be away from home after getting medical work done in case I need to rest. So I am just going to deal with the pain for the next week and take care of it when I return. Also I have run out of dental coverage this year, and so I am going to owe $750 for this little tooth of mine. Not to mention after he is done, I’ll owe another $900 for the crown. Fortunately I can wait to have the crown done in January when my insurance resets. I don’t know if I’ll be able to make it that long for my root canal. I am on antibiotics and painkillers
right now, so we’ll see how that goes for the next few weeks.
This got me interested in an alternative solution. Apparently Mexico is the land of cheap dental work! Should I go to Mexico and have a root canal? I only live about 2 hours away.

My sources say no! However, I hate it for you, and I hope you get to feeling better!!!!
What makes teeth die? I mean, I know when you got knocked with a baseball or whatever it happened, but how does it happen otherwise?

Oh no! I hope you don’t feel rotten the entire trip to Portland. I’m glad this happened before your Sept.trip.

Tough luck with the dental this year.
Watch out for those Mexican dentists. They’ll make your crown from bacteria

The last thing you want to do is go to Mexico for Dental Work if you want have your teeth after having it done by someone that may not even have gone to Dental School.
My father, was a dentist, who has passed and showed me how they rip off Americans looking to save money.
The USA has the best dentistry in the world and unfortunately it costs big bucks to get it done right.
Take care of your gums and you will save your teeth.
I do not get free dental work anymore so I know where you are coming from.
