The Best Restaurant In Portland Is Acadia
By Max | June 27, 2007
Tonight I am going to go to Acadia to enjoy some excellent Cajun food. Cajun cooking is my favorite by far. Its spicy and greasy and combines flavors perfectly. Acadia is a small little restaurant in Portland on NE 13th and Fremont.
I usually get the Pasta Jambalaya. I wish they offered a regular jambalaya for dinner, but the pasta version is very good. On Monday’s you can get regular Jambalaya. Its only $10. Thats perfect for a date. Take her out on a Monday. It’s cheaper and if the date doesn’t go well then you haven’t given up a weekend. (Pumping your date full of hurricanes will help ensure that things do go well.)
The last time I was there was for my friend John’s wedding rehearsal dinner. As usual the food was great. A couple people I was with got the pork chop. That looked really good, but I don’t know if I want to give up the jambalaya to order that instead. Its such a curse to have only one stomach.

Sounds like you are enjoying your trip back to Portland. I remember when you spent like $50 back at school to buy the crap to make your own Jambalaya. You love that stuff.

Portland has been a lot of fun so far. Tomorrow night the party continues as we head down to the strip club!
