Working On A Wordpress Plugin
By Max | May 28, 2007
I wanted to try to write a Wordpress plugin. My idea is to have random links display on the sidebar of a blog. Each week it will update to display different links. Each person displaying links will also have their link displayed randomly by others who also have the plugin. There is probably already some kind of link exchange plugin, but who knows. I’ll give it a shot and see if anyone tries to use it.
So far I only have created the server side. It was easier than I thought it would be.
Check it out. http://www.maxtower.com/links/givemelinks.php?url=www.maxtower.com
You should see 5 random links displayed.
Now I have to work on creating the plugin. I think that will be a little more difficult only because I don’t yet know how to actually make a plugin.

I wish I could help but I just stick to HW. All I know is that your site looks great on my new 22″ Widescreen LCD I picked up yesterday

Thats awesome. Speaking of 22″ widescreens, can you hook me up with any sort of Dell discount? I am interested in getting a new PC+monitor.

A big 10%. You are better off waiting until Dell’s hit more retail stores. You can probably get a better deal.
