This Is Too Good To Be True – Bring On Fantasy Fest!

For the last three years I have spent most of my days counting down the hours until the next Mardi Gras. Mardi Gras is without mankind’s greatest achievement. It is the pinnacle of partying excess. Unfortunately, Mardi Gras only happens once a year, usually around February. My friends and I have been trying to find another massive party to attend around the Mardi Gras halfway mark in October.
I can’t believe no one told me about Fantasy Fest before. Key West apparently has been having a big Halloween celebration the last couple decades. At first it was conceived as a carnival to boost tourist traffic during the slow season. In October most of us have just had a summer vacation and there is little incentive to go on another since the weather in the coldest parts of the country is still nice. I am certainly on board with partying for partying’s sake.
Fantasy Fest 2007 here I come.
And since I know you are wondering, you don’t even have to ask. The answer is YES!
